Extract pages 5–8 of a contract into their own file to send just the relevant section.
Split odd and even pages
Separate a double-sided scan into odd and even page sets.
Tips & tricks
Get the most out of it.
- 1Use custom ranges like 1, 3, 5-8 to control exactly which pages go where.
- 2Downloads arrive as a ZIP so a large split stays organised.
- 3Your original file is never modified — the split always produces new files.
About Split PDF
What this tool does
Split PDF breaks one PDF into smaller files — by single page, custom page ranges, or odd/even sets — so you can share or keep only the pages you need.
How to use it
- Open your PDF and choose a split mode (per page, ranges, or odd/even).
- For ranges, type something like
1, 3, 5-8. - Download the resulting files, bundled as a ZIP when there is more than one.
How it works
Using pdf-lib, the tool copies the pages you select into one or more new documents in your browser, then packages them for download.
Important considerations
- Page numbers are 1-based and refer to the visible page order.
- Very large PDFs are limited only by your device’s memory.
Privacy
Your PDF is processed entirely in your browser. The file is never uploaded to a server, which makes this safe for confidential contracts, statements and personal documents.
