About PDF Metadata Editor

What this tool does

PDF Metadata Editor lets you view and change a PDF's document properties — title, author, subject and keywords.

How to use it

  • Upload your PDF to load its current metadata.
  • Edit the title, author, subject or keywords.
  • Save and download the updated PDF.

How it works

The tool reads the document information dictionary with pdf-lib, applies your edits, and writes a new PDF with the updated properties.

Important considerations

  • Edits standard document properties; it does not change page content.

Privacy

Your PDF is processed entirely in your browser. The file is never uploaded to a server, which makes this safe for confidential contracts, statements and personal documents.
