How it works
The tool requests current exchange rates from Frankfurter, a free public API built on European Central Bank data, then multiplies your amount by the rate in your browser.
Important considerations
- Rates are reference (mid-market) rates; banks and card networks add a margin.
- An internet connection is required to fetch the latest rates.
Privacy
Amounts are calculated in your browser. To get current rates, the tool sends only your selected currency pair to a public exchange-rate API (frankfurter.app) — the amount you enter is not sent.
