About Crop PDF

What this tool does

Crop PDF trims the margins of your pages by setting a uniform crop, so you keep only the content that matters.

How to use it

  • Upload your PDF.
  • Set the margin to trim from each edge.
  • Download the cropped PDF.

How it works

The visible area (crop box) of each page is reduced by the margins you set, using pdf-lib — the underlying content is preserved.

Important considerations

  • Cropping hides content outside the crop box rather than deleting it from the file.

Privacy

Your PDF is processed entirely in your browser. The file is never uploaded to a server, which makes this safe for confidential contracts, statements and personal documents.

Frequently asked questions

Cropping changes the visible area; hidden content can remain in the file. Flatten or re-export if you need it truly gone.
