About Text Summarizer
What this tool does
Text Summarizer condenses long text into the key sentences using extractive summarization — no API key or account.
How to use it
- Paste the text you want summarised.
- Choose how short the summary should be.
- Read or copy the extracted key sentences.
How it works
The tool scores each sentence by how many important, frequent terms it contains and selects the highest-ranked sentences in their original order. It extracts existing sentences rather than generating new text.
Important considerations
- It selects sentences from your text; it does not paraphrase or write new prose.
- Very short or list-like text has little to summarise.
Privacy
